Its getting close! Im going to focus on the character with my crits for now. As already pointed out, the arm just doesn't fit in there well, try having it popping out of the fur more. The top of the head is tilting a little too far to the right for me, same with the ear. The colors on the character are far too desaturated for the look you are going for. I tried editing the colors just now and just increasing the saturation on the highlights and midtones really helps make her pop out more. Personally I would add one more shade of a very different color for the bottom shadow on her. Your hues are very close together right now and that makes for bland colors. Colors need other colors to make them really come to life, if the shades are too close to the base color it leaves it looking bland and dead. Take a look at the colors in your refs, lots of hue shifts happening making the colors look really vivid, the colors play off each other. It's looking good, just some small fixes can make it look much better.
TL;DR colors need diverse buddies.
Really cute! Maybe it's on purpose but I can't help finding odd that his left arm and ear are far to up comparing to his right ones (overall I can't really get what perspective you choose for him :P)
Hi. This is pretty. I don't like the bear's arm though.
Nice effort. Love your style ref sheet!
I also want to master the cell shadey chibi cute style.
As for crit, I say use less 1px details. Less detail overall. And the contrast difference between your indexes seems to need regulated - use less very low contrast color combos; use bolder adjacent colors. It's 5:39am, hope that makes sense.
Looks great !
The bush and the rock are perfect to me; but I guess you could detail a bit the wood's spiral (the bark is neat tho).
Colors are great too... Maybe the road/dirt need some more contrast compared to grass ?
The only real "problem" I really see here is your grass; It's awesome... until blank areas. The upper most part is really dull, it's just green. So, I wouldn't make a grass texture, but maybe you could toss a few, I dunno, small stones, grass tuft, just so it's not so empty. :)
(well, since this is probably just randomly tossed props instead of a real scenery, maybe you already know that ^^)
nice charecter, if you are still working on detail, the grass would be nice with some texture. But I understand that that is not the focus. But really nice charecter
