I don't think that the heavy dithering on the sleeve matches the style of the rest of the piece. I like the smooth look (no dithering) in the hair and the front of his coat. Other than that, it's amazing!
Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'm just going to remove the dithering altogether since I think dithering is not really my style.
yeah, it's been mild except for the snow this weekend and once in october. they cranked our heat up all the same and we have to open the windows not to be sweated out!
very nice piece, love all but the dithering on the skin. hair is quite nice, as is the jacket lining.
That dithering on the sleeve is just... eh. If you need more tones, probably just add another color or two.

edit: Hair could use some AA, you got so many tones it shouldn't be too hard.

But why didn't you use dithering in the middle? It's quite strange to see it only on the sleeve.

Amazing. It really makes me wonder though, if I'll be as good an artist as you in a few years. I can't draw this good even if I work for a couple of days on something...Nevertheless, the fluff on the head of the coat's rim has a beautiful painted look to it, and the highligts on the left side combined with the pure white background make for a very atmospheric piece.
