Those are very, very adorable.

I must agree that you can certainly improve the contrast and usage of your colors.

To me the most obvious ones would be the contrast between the bright skintone and the blonde hair.

I'd recommend that you try to be as minimalistic with your colors as you are with your pixel budget. You are currently using 65 colors, many of them are very similar.

If you'd optimize your color usage the whole piece would benefit from a color homogenity that would improve the piece even fruther.

Still, like it at lot, faved :-)

 I really like the idea but as someone else said, the skin tones could do with more contrast because we can't make out the features - Very cool though!
