I was just browsing around galleries and came across this... it's small, it's odd, and I love it. I'd really like to see you do something larger and/or more elaborate with him. Awesome stuff, man.
It has a nice shape and those shouting style is nice and smooth but I feel that the dithering, especially on the grey part makes it rather noisy. I think if you upped the contrast on the grey part for a more metalic shine and made some interesting hue shifts it would improve the already nice piece...
AA in this case is just the size of the battery, but AA also being the abbreviation for anti-aliasing is quite the coincidence. I never even thought of that.
Looks awesome! Could AA also stand for Anti-Aliasing by any chance? That's what I thought the original idea was before I read the description. Anyway, I love the simple dithering that adds a lot of detail and shine. 5/5 and fav!
