Thanks for the feedbacks. The bottom is meant to be flat but maybe you are right when you say it is too flat and motionless, so I tried to add some movement to its bottom :)
So simple and cute! I really like how the leaves move the most, it's nice and realistic, although I feel like the bottom of the creature is a little too flat , like maybe it should sag a little, if that's the right word for it. I mean each time the feet step, perhaps the bottom of the creature will change shape subtly too.
Oh and awesome that you added the blinking too : )

Maybe you can add some eyeblink ? I think totoros have it.
