original idea 

 i like the style!, but i really really not like that rounded texture/pattern... seens like "to much ppl is using it", which lack of creativity :(((.... and well the color palette is kind of boring or well is balanced in a way that make the piece boring. other than that, the piece is really cool. I would love to see more from you :D... you have interesting stuff

you've really got that blocky dithering style to work for you, some people don't know how to use it. I would have added another color to ramp of the desk thing behind the black crowned king, as 2 colors doesn't work too well imo =p

that is pretty damn cool... also in thermological view. ^^ due to the interesting coloring and shading it actually feels pretty 'cold' . love the work on the snow mountains and the white king's coat ^^...

 Too much happening on the right. You should of created a larger mountain on the left to balance out the composition. Good work otherwise.
