Me gustó mucho, lo estoy usando como referencia en mi pixel art.
In game there's going to be two versions, one with color and this one.
Really retro XD...you could try it whit colors..but its good !
Okay, so I made the sword animations 4 frames long. I also made it so that the sword is always wielded in the left hand.
The animation looks a bit slow on the swing, but it's because it's synced with the walk cycle. In game it'll be faster.
Ah, so it was a sword swing ;)
But it doesn't work at all with 2 frames only. But maybe you could make it work using the 4 actual frames (extreme points without swing, transitions with swing), not sure, worth a try anyway.
Alright, I fixed the outline, the shadow on the helm and the head bobbing. I also tweaked the upwards sword swing that was an abomination in the last version.

Why the outlines on weapons when the sprite doesn't have any? Acceptable on the sword, not at all on the larger thing (what is it? why does it get bigger in one frame?).
The helm needs to cast a shadow on the face, as it is the face looks like a mask stuck on the helm.
Could use some head bobbing too.
