Looks more like a mosaic in relief- or with some parts sticking out above the flat surface- than a threedimensional tree.
I'm picking up 17 colors, but no problem. Pixeljoint actually has a built in feature for zooming in and out of an image, so it's usually not really necessary to post magnifications of an image (unless it's meant to be viewed at something greater than 1x ).
This tree definitly has some good things going for it. I like that the leaf texture is not monotonous. I'm at least not noticing anything being repeated in it. The trunk seems kind of flat though. It should probably have a lot more shadow down there, stretching all the way to the ground, because of the large mass of leaves above it.
