I see what I did wrong, and I think I can fix the banding issue. (The reason why it isn't as obvious on her dress is because of the cheap double black outline I gave her hair that overlapped the banding pixels). I've tried to preserve the strong lines as present in the animation itself, but I supposed it doesn't look very nicely in small pixelart like this. I'll see if I can make some adjustments this weekend.

It's a really nice piece! It looks just like her. Colours could be a *tiny* bit better. Banding is evident on the
whole left side of her hair.

The composition is interesting. But there's so many banding indeed. The drawing of nose and ear can improve too.

love studio Ghibli movies, and this one is one of the ones I enjoy the most. Well done, it captures her liking very well.

The banding really bothers me in this piece. I think you could have applied AA here and a bit more contrast between the shades of the hair, clothes and skin tone to match the contrast level from the hairpin better.
