Yellows in the form of #wxyz00 tend to look green when at the dark end of the colour.
Avoiding this for the shady parts of yellow, it's best to use complementary shadow, which in this case means it leads towards a purple hue.
Colors match the golden palette of the rest of the game it was intended for. I'm not sure how it looks green though, as I'm pretty sure it's strictly on the yellow end of the spectrum, unless my color-blindness is decieving me.
Regardless I've updated the colors for presentation.
I much like CPearson's edit, try making your darkers more... purpley.
Yes warmer yellows is way better. This is too green to read as golden.
I think the colours on this really let down the piece as a whole.
