Revolution - Love, War and Change

The story of forbidden love in Japan. For hundreds of years, the country remained closed to outsiders, but now, Westerners have arrived and with them, comes turmoil and chaos as love blossoms and war sparks and everything is forever changed.

(The idea being that the main female character is one of the Emperor's geisha's and that the main male character is a foreigner that came to try and negotiate treaties with Japan, but in the end, war begins and the two lovers are caught in either side of the conflict.)

Disclaimer; I might be a little too addicted to historical novels, but I'm certainly no expert so I apologise if some elements of the story come across in some way insensitive, insulting or incorrect, I'm doing the best with my basic knowledge and imagination. 

Also, in submitting this, I'm not claiming it's perfect or that I really have any clue whether I'm doing things "right" or not, and that I can't keep working on it forever, as the deadline is in a few hours. So although I may make edits later, please appreciate I've put as much time as I can into for now. It's the first time I've picked my own palette, first time conforming to such a low colour count and my second time trying to abide by traditional pixelling rules. Also pretty big compared to what I'm used to : P So yeah... bound to be plenty of things that need work lol
