mockup screenshot of my indie game I'm working on called Dragon Zone. its a nonlinear retro fantasy RPG.
the color scheme is from the original version of Ultima 2 on the Apple II computer.
in this shot we have a party of four player characters battling some goblins. this party has one of each of Dragon Zone's four ability classes: a Caster(magick user), a Fighter(equipped combat), a Brawler(unequipped combat), and a Prowler(thief/hunter). the goblins' party consists of three Grunts(the weaker betas), three Warriors(the alphas who get all the loot and scavenge weapons and shields for themselves) and their leader, a Shaman.
the Caster keeps a safe distance away, while the Fighter runs straight to the Goblin Shaman to eliminate the biggest threat. the Brawler tries to draw the attention of the rest of the goblins, but there are too many and one is sneaking around to get at the vulnerable Caster. the Prowler attempts a backstab on one of the Goblin Warriors busy attacking the Fighter.
I'm looking for either programmers or someone who can make a game like this happen in RPG maker or something like that. I'm also looking for 8 bit musicians. if you're interested, let me know. |
