Nope. Your sprites are 8 tall. Mario was 12 pixels tall when small and 16 tall as Super Mario in the first Super Mario Land. I owned that game on my original Gameboy and always found it horribly fiddly to play.
Well, as i dont know how to program a game on a true GB cartridge, if i make a game with this i't will be a pc game made with multimedia fusion 2...
But i think that mario in the first "marioland" on GB was not taller than my sprites ?
I like this a lot but it would be terrible on a real Gameboy. The sprites would appear far too small to see easily, especially when moving due to the 'motion blurring' the original Gameboy had. As a scaled up retro style game on a modern monitor though it's quite appealing :)
i didnt know thanks..
I had that game to i liked it ..
