Did make me ponder pixel art where the character's shirt is defined by whatever the PJ theme color is though.

heh it was just a fail joke >.<

But not everyone uses the default theme.  My PJ backdrop is a dark saturated blue. :P

 since the gray on your character ( default color for pixel joint ) is mixing with the background you could just let it transparent and put 15 colors instead of 16 lol

And yeah, I am pale.  I live in Minnesota.

I like this.  Good attempt at a ready stance animation.  I think the shadow could be a lot darker and the skintone a little brighter (unless you're just very pale in real life) but overall it's very cool.
