I fear you may have done too much detail into the newspaper picture D:
It looks like an actual scene, and the mouse is floating over it.
My idea for a fix: Tone down the colors for it (lower the saturation).
Also, I can't tell what that green thing in the pizza box is. I want to say it's garlic powder.
Other then that, beautiful attention to detail!
J'aime bien le détail des auréoles de café, ça sent le mec qui a buché toute la nuit.

Thanks Yrizoud for the sharing technics critics (love this). I'm not familiar with the cast shadow concept.
I think you do a good iso-ing of objects, but you could work much more on cast shadows in order to put them in the right space. Specifically: the pencil is cylindrical so the underside is guaranteed to cast a shadow.

It's not garlic powder but spicy oil. ;)
About the picture on the newspaper. Your advice and fix match exatly with the debrief we ad with my collègue. You've pointed something.
Actualy i tried diferent things for this ellement first i wanted to transform a real picture from google. With an iso and law def deformation, but of course it didn't match with the pix style. producing a picture pix by pix would take to mush energy for the time i had... So i took a sample from an other illus and incorpated it brutally in the news paper. I wasn't very happy the result but...
Thanks for your interest i realy apreciate this kind of critics because it a efficient way to improve my skill.
