@clefairykid - you said it very well as far as warmer colors.  The new choices I feel are warmer.

Maybe this edit addresses some of the color problems.

 I actually like where the edit with the pinks is going, these are overall really lovely and fluffy and very realistic, but I don't  like how greyish/greenish they can seem from first glance, would be nice to see some warmer colours in there especially for the shadows, but obviously I don't know a great deal about picking colours yet so I couldn't say which colours for certain...

They look like strings in their mouths, not sticks :O

@Jeremy - Interesting edit.  I'm not sure I like the pink though.  I don't mind my 3rd shade of yellow, but the 4th and fifth shade I might work with.  I wanted the orangey beak and feet colors to stand out.  I know the lightest shade of yellow barely shows up, but I feel it adds a "fluffyness"  No?  lol

@Partack - This was the 5th take on the sticks.  My first few stick really looked like moustaches.  :D

 I thought the sticks were moustaches till i saw the title.. lol.  cute either way. gj.

I don't really like the greens. You could do something like

also I don't think you even need the lightest yellow. It barely shows up as a highlight and makes that yellow seem less vibrant.

Just checked it again.  They're all there.   Never mind, I know what you mean.  The dark yellows tend to be more green.
