I think the strangeness is coming from the wall looking like paper folded outwards at the edges, and not like corroded brick. Maybe it's just me though since nobody else has commented on it. Congratulations on another first place.
There is no reasong to be annoyed if it has nothing to do with you. I was talking to a3um.
@Philippe Once again I am annoyed by these comments of yours.
The hole in the wall does indeed look like it's been melted. I think what I like the most is the green shine coming from the tunnel. Overall pretty darn sweet.
Thanks guys:)
@Faceless - such a small spider can't possibly demolish the wall to sneak in. So I'd say it was rather melted with acid or maybe distorted with his supernatural abilities. This is an explanation for such a strange hole borders if that's what you meant:)
Nice use of the palette but I have to say the hole in the brick wall looks extremely strange.
Wooooahh.... very very talented pixelling and stunning use of the colours for the challenge, congrats on getting me to actually look at a spider that much, just to admire the pixelling skill! haha :D This will surely do well, if people can get past how scary the spider is haha :P
gonna get my place in the monthly top ( waterfall - -' )
Great use of the colors!
The bricks are brilliant.
Wow this reminds me of old good times playing Tibia and exping underground ... great stuff man ;)
this is just awesome! tho at first I thought it was a green ball :P
Ugh. those drips are gross. Really nice use of the palette
Very well done! The only part that falters, IMO, are the outer edges of the aperture. They look like cloth or melted metal instead of masonry.
