I like to try different techniques in pixel art. In this case I took this photograph as a reference to obtain a realistic shape by which to work and also have a model of light and texture.

EDIT: I've  changed the color palette because some don't belong to the palette of Office. I did some tests and I forgot it!

Well, it looks not bad, but I miss hard light on the shell and body. Looks like the snail is made of sand with this heavy dithering.

But you improved after all. And nice preview

I didn't quite liked the texture of the shell. Some things aren't supposed or aren't meant to be exactly like the real life in pixel art, learn that it will help you a lot!
