@Vampireslug. Yes, you are right. There are also missing details on the lower wings, which I noticed only when I was doing this T-shirt design. As said, it's a part of a bigger work (as you can see on the link in the description) so the lack of detail comes from that and I hope you can see it in that light. I did already rework the engines into being more metallic (the biggest flaw I saw when looking at new references I didn't have in 2005), but I left the rest as is in the poster.
Revolver1, you are right, I removed it from the title. I would rather not be asking for touble with using 8-bit as the mainstream description of anything pixelated (I'm nitpicky sometimes about such things myself).
Great ISO and I really like the texture of the Rebel Alliance symbol... not sure about the R2 unit dome though, kind of lacking detail <shrug>.
i would personally associate this image with 16-bit rather than 8-bit :P... but i might just be nitpicking about the name :P cool stuff.
