Haha, indeed, it's very much in the style of Minecraft. But even when I tried to un-Minecraft it, it was very difficult to make an isometric cube landscape look like anything but Minecraft. Any ideas?
I think you should work on the lava and water tiles, the tiling is very obvious..

Why is there no connection tiles ? between the different terrains

I agree that the tiling on those is too obvious.
There's no connection between the tiles because this is the first iteration of a terrain generator, and making transitionary cubes would require a lot more coding. That's also why it's so random -- the layout was generated by a computer program rather than laid out by hand. With a little more time, both the programming and the pixel work would've become better... but it's a dead project now unfortunately. C'est la vie!
