The dark tone gives a good ambiance to the piece. Very nice contrast <3
love the frailness of the figure itself. i really enjoy perhaps the preview thumb area most of all. but generally it has a nice sense of tension. got that 'whats happening off screen?' curiosity going on.
theres still lots of room for more cleanliness but this looks like a much more purposeful construction than your previous gallery piece.
one little note.: i think her one forearm is a little too skinny to the point of looking strange.usually the elbow is the thickest part of the arm on extreme underweight conditions. itll help give you more of that ghastly/deathly skeletal look.
It was to break up the intensity of the color without sacrificing texture. Dithering looked far too strange and changing the brightness made her face and the water look worse.
Nice work. I don't really like the broken highlights though. Not sure what your reasoning behind that is.
Thank you Gecimen. :) I still have an issue with doing smaller pieces, so I've been working to ensure that I can at least make it look good when done larger lol.
I quite like this way of using few colors. Large areas, tasteful dithering, visible lineart and decent AA, everything's in place.
Oh wow! The colors are excellent. 8)
Makes it look quite creepy.
Thank you Elk! :) I felt like I needed to prove the last piece was a product of laziness and not lack of personal development :P
And nope, Christoballs, I didn't use a reference. Which is why the anatomy is probably wrong. x___x
Great work!
