I like the dominant shadows with highlights only on the surface. I'll have to look closer at some point and take in the detail.

The rocks look really good. I feel like there's a lack of dark dark colors. Aside from the character, the darkest colors aren't especially dark, so it feels a little washed out.

Mmm, love those cliffs.

The clumps of leaves on the tree, towards the top, seem a little disjointed though. Maybe make the black space in between them smaller, or add lumps here and there in the cracks?

very nice job, i like how the player has the small black outline, it makes it easier to see the character ingame if surrounded by enemies or judging gaps in platformers (which i assume this is) in normal art pieces the black border might make the character not blend in to the background or whatnot, but i feel that in a game you want the player to be visible so as to not "disapear" in to the level, over all i think it looks great :)

The rocks don't have as much contrast as the other tiles, plus they stand out as the other tiles are rather straight; maybe you could add some slopes for the grass tiles.

Removing the orange on the tree was a good idea.

The dithered parts of the clouds and the solid are mixed up, the solid ones look like they are closer so the dithered parts should be placed behind them, you could also just remove the dithering it would work out without it.
