I have to agree with others here. This is 90% awesome, kickass, epic...that 10% is sorely missing mostly because you are capable, skilled, talented and PA technique savy.

It's so simple, yet so impressive! The part being lit from the lava is very artificial, imo. I think you should "extend" the lighting in the clothes, since the lava light is much brighter than this simple outline gives the impression of. I must agree with them and say that polishing it could easily put this piece among the monthly top! Actually, this style is fine imo, but there's a strange contrast between some parts and others (for example, the moon and clouds look like a minimalistic piece, but they're totally different from what the rocks look like, which are still a bit contrasting [in style] with the clothes).

Well, as I see that some of you did comment about the "unfinshed" feeling of the piece, I might actually work on it again. :P
Personally, I think this piece would have looked better if it was smoothened out a bit more. Definitely not getting a finished vibe from this.
This has all the makings of a great piece, but it's lacking polish. I hope you decide to put it back in the oven.
I wish this was polished a bit more. The background in the top left would look much better if it was darker and had less contrast. Great piece so far though!
True Super17, there are some areas that weren't "touched", but o'well, I don't think it's a big of an issue. :P
