Wow, a pixel-art is so stable on everything related to techniques and palettes. Very good! (But I agree that you eliminate the banding of their work and do something more elaborate)

 Looks pretty good! I like the colors and especially that little whisp of hair on the right. There's some pretty crazy banding going on around the chin area though, and on the eyes too. It'd do it a lot of good if you eliminated the banding.
