Unless it's an Icelandic horse, I would change the movement of the legs. The side view caught my eye because the left foreleg and left hindleg moves almost at the same time and vice versa for the right side of the horse. And this kind of walking is only possible for this particular breed as far as I know.
If this had a few more colors - it would look just like an Age of Empires unit. I like the animations!
