I love the over-the-top cartoony style. It turns the limited palette into a strength. All the sprites look like shiny squeaky toys. The only thing that seems to clash is the design of the bow-and-arrow, since nothing else in the shot is as thin as it is. Great work overall!
@orange08 - You think so? I think that the grass shouldn't be just a solid color, since that could be a bit too distracting, but I'm not sure - I did pattern the ground in the Ice mockup, so I'm not that sure. Anyway, thanks!
EDIT: I also updated the pic to have shadows on the sidewalk, as well as give a bit of color to it.

... Bah, that's stupid, ha ha. I'll just do reply and '@username' when I reply to people. Sorry about that. :)
@ui - Thanks! I did another one just yesterday, actually. I posted it up here.
@Nevercreature / PoisonousJoy / FelipeFS - Thanks!
@Votali obscur - Ha ha, yeah, everything's going on in the same pic. But maybe that would be a part of the appeal of this game - enemies could spawn anywhere and wander into town, attacking the townspeople?
Not sure about what's happening here (monsters, inn, all in one pic?) but the look of it is great!
Very good. Would be even better if the grass had a pattern instead of a plain blank color :)
Yeah, the bow and arrow are indeed thin, but I think I like them that way. I'm not really sure how I could fix it - if I pixelled the arrow diagonally to give it a bit more width, it wouldn't really fit with the bow in the box. Thanks anyway!
