Use the "scale" tool (no interpolation) and shrink it to like 25% the size it is now. Not only will the sprite be more manageable but it'll look better. And small sprites are more fun.
It looks not bad but seems like a sketch. You could try using more aliasing and dithering.
I think you could fit the same amount of detail on a much smaller sprite, would look much better imo.
There is no pillow shading on the hammer it is instead shaded like it was flat. The rest of the piece features heavy pillow shading and very inconsistant lightning . Read up on pillow shading and related terms here! I think you should take this piece to the WIp forum if you wish to improve it.

Hey, it was just a suggestion. Obviously once you scale it down one should zoom back into the sprite and work with it.
