I agree with Dreadlockz. The dithering is perfect.

I think the dithering makes it look fantastic and actually hairy, instead of just drawn ontop. Awesome!

Yeah, the dithering in the stache was mainly for texture, that's obviously why the stache is the only thing in the image with dithering.

I don't think there really needs to be dithering for something this small (unless you were trying to add some texturing to it)
