I just got called pixel dad and having pushed pixels this long it's not really surprising... Couldn't get the image out of my head so I decided to pixel it :)

Great idea.  I agree with big brother, though, take off the white on the pixels.  I like the green pixel that's hanging on to his leg.

I like the overall concept of the piece. You might want to change the shading on the edges of the pixel babies. On first glance, I thought they were books.
