It would be easy to make this 16 colors or less. Push yourself and resubmit for the challenge. It's okay if you don't win. I plan on entering (if I finish) but do not expect to place, and that's okay. It's at least good to be surrounded by talented people who I can learn from.
Btw, I think your backgrounds are needlessly complex and 3 dimensional (the crossed swords do not need that shadow, for example). Focus on the icons themselves and fit them into the challenge format.

thanks. I usually try make my art try to feel real life, but I always make it very complex, the reason i kinda made it 3 dimensional because I thought it would be neat. I'll try on foucusing on the each to fit challenge format
