MacDeath says true, this image was made on a crt monitor and rendering of flat screens' s really very precise and I imagine another image make on a flat screen have another render on a crt ;), to respond to Gamamoto: it's time that I improved my Antialiasing technique (and I still have much to learn 
)
The comics styled inked feeling is not suitable for too much ditherings I guess.
On those old computers in 320x200, the Black can dither with every other colours, was a good way to get a darker shade, also on a real CRT monitor such fine ditherings are rendered quite smoothly and really looks like extra colours, but on modern flat monitors, the pixels are far too precise to have the real stuff.
All of you should try to see a real Amstrad CPC on its real CRT monitor, it could surprise you all.
The render is great ! Where did you learn how to realise this kind of anti aliasing ?

Great lines. Too bad you don't apply those nice colours for anyting else but AA. And that dithered AA is not really working on my display.
Really great job with that few colors.
I wonder if more detail could've been achieved on the dark areas with a bit of dithering? Or maybe the black can't dither too well with the other 3 colours.
