Nice textures in the middleground, although I wonder where the vanishing point is. The details of the birds and the far background is somewhat hasty, and so even the details of the foreground, which obviously would be out of focus and suffers from severe colorclashes in the charblocks. It's a great overal design, especially with the hand almost grasping the border of the screen :)
Being a c64 user myself, I always wonder why you ZX'ers don't cross-hatch more of those odd colors. The cyan is sharp against both the white and yellow, which atleast tells me one could try a different colorscheme, or atleast used more of the "mixed" colors for the backgrounds for example. I'd guess one of the reasons in this mode is that one gets those nasty chromatic aberrations (vertical stripes) on the screen and projection?
