This is what I mean about the "Press Start" convention in title screens
This is actually the title screen, a la Mega Man. Also, I think I see what you mean with the pincers and all. I also realized yesterday I accidentally put some banding on this, which I will fix (sometime).

If it's a game's title screen, I think you should have the "Press Space" centered, and in the bottom part, under the ship.
In the "Press Space" area it could have a "by Pheno" text instead. The ship is really nice, the only issue I see would be the pincers up front, the symmetry is just a bit off
Hmm, I think it looks better aesthetically if it's indented to the right. I'll see if other people suggest the same thing before I change that.
