In WiWa's defense all I am going to say is that DK didn't always have a tie... At least before rare decided to redesign the franchise anyways.

Personally I think it's fine without the tie. But that's my opinion.

 My only complaint his his missing tie, without it he's not Donkey Kong. He's just another Gorilla.
