I don't actually play games anymore, but I looked at the title screen scene and it does seem like a similar setting. I like the kind of atmosphere that scene had.

This looks really cool, but i think just by adding some AA and smoothing out the lines and the pixel work would make it even cooler!
I'm on teh fence as to whether you should polish it. either way i think it's quite nice.

Nice draft. I like the trees. Altough polishing it more wouldn't hurt, as mentioned by the others below.
It has potential, I think you should keep polishing it.
I really like this, the tree bark especially. I wonder if changing the black shadows in the snow to grey would look better, or even just cleaning their curves to be more pixel-friendly.
leave it like its if you like... it;s just perfect, add more colors will totally ruin the piece. But of course this is just my opinion
I agree. I honestly thought to myself "Why is he submitting a rough-draft?". That said, I still think it looks pretty good, but has potential to turn from a good piece into an amazing piece.
Nice, but I bet you can do more! It is still so clean, but the composition is worth taking the whole thing to a next level!
