Um Sylon, are you crossing your eyes? this one is done with parallel eyes.
very difficult,,, but for second great effect xD
So I am not the only one who thought of doing this!!
Great idea. I would say though, that you got it backwards. The rabbit thing looks farther away than the green leaves behind it, and the gray trees look closer to the viewer than the man and the bridges. I think you simply need to shift the pixels in one image in the opposite direction, if I remember how to solve this problem.
@ Hapiel: A stereogram game would be awesome! the problem is that I don't know anything about programming.
If I stare at this too long, will I stay crosseyed forever? That's the risk I'm willing to take.
Cool idea! I think that the effect is not so big on this one, but still fun! I was immediately thinking: can we create a stereogram game? :p
it's hard to register with pixels but... i got it! XD i had to zoom in on the image though, hahaha.
The effect works perfectly. I was actually thinking just a couple of days ago about how possible it'd be to do something exactly like this after looking up magic eye images and finding one of a row of slightly different views of a 3D rendered head.
Oh! My mistake. Interesting, I never knew the parallel vision could be done for autostereograms. That's a whole new level of practice!
