I really like your style, very gritty.
And the character in the distance, great way to add backstory.
You should upload more often.. Do you have a website or something? I'd love to see what else you've made.
Those dunes are really incedible like all else said, but the whole piece suffers because of the black outlines and the oversized survivor. I am so going to imitate those dunes, though. You've inspired me to do some Post-Apoc stuff!
Fantastic and quite atmospheric. The only obvious problem I can see is that your post-apocalyptic man is way too big for the gas station...other than that I can notice that your coloring style for the gas station reminds me of Mother 3. You also did a top notch job on the background. It would be great if you could make a tutorial on how to do great sand dunes like that.
I personally like the use of the black lines. It remind me a lot of the art style used in Borderlands, which I absolutely love. That being said, I think that you really could go either way with the borders being either colored or black.
Those sand dunes are good, but I don't like your black outlines.
It's the road warrior! =D
Someone made a custom survival map in left4dead2 of EXACTLY this. =D
Very awesome. good job
@rayovatron: Yeah, at that time I tended to do all the outlines black. It took me some time to learn that it isn't always the best option. Thanks for the guide! It's awesome : D
@solarlune: Thanks man! Yeah, the props ended up too small : /, but I'll revisit this piece someday and try to correct those errors.
Yeah, I would go with a different ouline color, and do some hue shifting to make the props feel more in the desert. The props are a little small for the character, as well. Really a very cool job, though!
Not sure about the black outlines. Maybe that can help you http://www.dragonflycave.com/recoloring.aspx
Wow, that background is amazing ! That masked guy's great too.
I really like the way the sand dunes and the clouds turned out. Great job!
@Chris_Devl, I have a blog: http://leandrodavel.blogspot.com.ar
I have some pixel art there but also my regular stuff (npa).
Thanks a lot for the comments : D
