get rid of all those colors by reworking the pallet and using dithering. It also depends on the style of the game :/
I just don't understand why to use fewer colors. This: http://i.imgur.com/EjqqY.png is the same work with 5 colors, but I really like a lot more the original. Is there a pattern of pixel art that determines the lowest possible use of color? Thanks. :)
Though that is alot of colours . You could do things like these with maybe 6 colours . Still , I love how you did the shading and those little "sparks" so I would say that there is no need to change it at all .
I don't think dithering would work here- it would add a lot of unwanted texture to something that's supposed to be sleek and smooth.
