Not to pile it on - because they are cool sprites - but the bases are also NPA. So is Ned Stark's sword and The Hound's shins.
Maybe one more person could inform him/her this isn't pixel art?? Come on... one more??
I'd suggest leaving the background in there, but just do it by hand instead! Excellent sprites, I could tell instantly who each of them were. I especially like Bran and Hodor.
The BG is not pixel art. Try re-submit them with a plain or transparent BG if you want them to be accepted.
I don't mind the backgrounds and doubt many will think they detract from the piece at all, but they're simply against gallery rules, which are necessary to enforce to ensure PixelJoint doesn't erode into digitalartjoint.
Shame it violates the rules, but I like it.
