Well, I'm quite satisfied with this. Thanks to all of those humans peopleover there at the amazing Work in Progress forum. Without them, I'd still be using cheap blur tools and thinking they looked good...

The colored background is due to the fact that I believe it looks much better like this than with select theme's background.
