Weekly Challenge: Angels and Demonsthanks a lot! I appreciate your initial criticism too, I felt the piece was missing something but I didn't know what, I feel it's overall a lot better now 
Nice!! The new details really help balance the sprite composition. And there's that colour contrast we've been talking about!
Hey, I made some major overhauls to the palette, and added a bunch of new details. Hopefully it helps with the lack of contrast. Let me know what you think!
It looks very good the way it is, but yeah, you can update the piece until the challenge deadline :)
haha, thank you so much, I really appreciate it! yeah, honestly, I intentionally went with a lot of reds since it's not a color I worked with often and it's not a color I see on angels often either. but it doesn't really make for a very contrast-heavy piece and the abundance of reds makes it a little boring. I could've probably gone for a white robe/wings with red stitching and gotten a better effect, especially with the dark red hair and dark skin.
I would probably try tweaking it but I'm not sure if you're supposed to tweak challenge submissions after you submit them? :/
I needed to zoom in a bit to be able to see the full complexity of the details. The robe looks great! O_O
The only nitpick I have is that everything is pink and red :P
I understand that the color restriction is quite severe, but maybe some colour contrast would do good here :)
