Yesterday evening i was very bored, so i started to pixel my mousehand. Doing that while the hand was on the mouse was a little difficult, because i could not move the mouse very far without changing the whole perspective but still needed to move it of course to put pixels... The lineart took about 40 minutes, then i went to sleep. Today i added shading/dithering, aa, and that glow in the shade(pink) all together in another session of about 180 minutes.(The glow in the shade in reality was not visible, i completely made that up, because otherwise the piece would have looked a little too boring.) Stats: 2 sessions(220 minutes) / 16 colors / "Personal Paint"(amiga)

I never felt that it hurts, it's just looking funny. If it hurts there is likely something wrong with the veins, otherwise it's just the blood that has warmed up, which maybe widenes the veins and as they can't expand inside, because of flesh and bones blocking them, they take the path of least resistance and decide to push out the skin and yadda yadda yadda...

You should see my hand in the summer then, when the weather is hot they'll come out even more.

(It could seem a little exagerrated here, because of the sharp light, shadow and the pink.)
