The priests of the Arah-Keh built KenSnahk to summon a creature known only to they. Their belief that the Arah shall come and destroy the remainder of the stinking apes that they are, but as the Arah's loyal servants they would be spared, to be made into Gods along them as lords of the universe. To stop Earth winning, the Arah-Keh designed a thorned amethyst bowl, the KenSnahk, to summon a creature of evil and bring the planet to it's knees.

I'm not sure that makes sense, or reason, but hey! This demon used to be green and brown and an angel, but that made no sense at all (what with it being a snake and all), so some colour changes and it was a demon-ish thing.
