thanks for your answers! Seems you got a smart way to work. The texture and colors are awesome.
I am super impressed with the overall design and textures used.
Ah, I'll perhaps do it actually, thanks for the suggestion. :)
Lovely textures you've created there, it's a great piece! The only thing I dislike about it is the volume of the columns. They could be a lot rounder - right now, they look like flat rectangles with slightly rounded edges to me. It would help a lot if the highlight wasn't at the very left edge, but much rather shifted more slightly left off-center of the cylinder.
This is... Great! Woah, man, I can't wait to see this in a game
Thanks for the compliments everybody. :)

Hmm, it might be something with the monitor settings, it seems pretty fine on mine

Yes I do, I work with a tablet to make the main details in the piece (in pixelart), and then afterwards, I begin making the details with the mouse, sometimes I can make the details with a tablet in pixelart, usually in big pieces, such as this.
As for pros and cons, well, it depends on what you work, for me, working on airbrushing digital art(w/e you call that :P), a tablet is better than the mouse in every aspect.
But as for pixel art, working with the mouse is probably way better than working with a tablet, especially for details and small pieces.
I guess that working with the mouse is very long, in big canvases particularly, but useful for details and small pieces, and the tablet is great for big canvases, but oftenly is quite bad for detailing in pixelart.
I use GraphicsGale for pixel art, and PS for other digital art. :)
You work with a tablet? what are the pros and cons versus a mouse do you think? I often feel it takes forever to do any art, but with a tablet it goes faster but I still have a hard time with details with a tablet. You use PS or? Awesome piece btw, love it.
Working on a menu screen myself atm...
The stones all look great. My only nitpick is the color choice and the highlights on the stone glyph rectangle frame thing. Seems too bright compared to the rest of the piece, and the palette sorta clashes with the other colors, imo. Don't misunderstand, by itself the glyph frame looks cool.
I really like the design on the silver frame and your lighting on this whole piece.
Looks like age of mythology menu! really great work!
This is amazing.. I love the design
