What you were trying to do is hard to accomplish, but I think you pulled it off pretty well. My only complaint is perhaps how well the lighter blue in the troll blends in with the background.

Nice job, though, you could add some AA to those dark branches to make the picture look a little more pleasing. 

Its rather small, thought might look better bigger, different taste I guess.

Why are you posting an upscaled version of this? We can upscale it ourselves with the +/- buttons, many artists actually like to look at the original sized image.
