Welcome to PJ. The piece is alright but you'll do much better if you studied Antialiasing.
Nice design, the background is a very similar colour which could do with a little more contrast from the main subject, but it's a minor thing, and I think the edges would be nice with some AA (since the jaggies are more pronounced when the dark black meets the light white areas).
You need to remove the gradient fill on the background. Things like that are typically frowned upon, and it probably won't get into the gallery with it. 
Other than that, it's a nice lookin' fox.
