for the perspective i had a lowpoli model, but without textures, colors, shadows  or something. i rendered the view, no raytracing. only to have a good perspective. all other i done in gimp, contours, colors and textures... waste a long night xD so i can say...handdrawn....or mousedrawn? hmmm xD...all pixels set by myself xD

I have no proof but I do think these taxistands looked like they were renders at some point.

 I really like the perspective on these but I can't help feeling that the shading could be improved a bit perhaps.... although I think the wider than 1px outline on the roof top is what puts me off the most, makes it seem messier than it really is. I like the brick pattern and the red, worn stripes in the bottom left corner c:
