Whoa didn,'t realize its so easy. I took a quick look at the gimp tutorial but it was kind of confusing. But thanks that helps so much.
hey, try using 3 colors for shading. and try a light from above. for animating exists software like anime studio and any free alternates. u must search for the best for u.
When animating in Gimp 2.8 you layer the frames in order, export as a .gif file, click to save as animation, and select "one frame per layer" under frame disposal. If you don't do that last part you'll get a multilayered mess.
Yeah, I think I may have gotten a little sloppy after the legs. But the light source is coming a bit from the front and shading is coming from the bottom and back, though I think that I should take a bit off the top.
