C64 hires mode (preset palette, 2 colors per 8x8px block).

The standard resolution for hires is 320x200, but here the screen is enhanced to the border by using sprites (8 for upper and 8 for lower border, btw 8 sprites is maximum per rasterline).
Sprites are 24x21px (hires, 1 color+transparent) or 12x21px (multicolor, double-pixel, 2 fixed colors, 1 free to select) and can be expanded to double size. To get the impression of hires restrictions i used a mixture of these.

This graphic is part of the demo Coma Light 13 by Oxyron. In the demo the two puppets are also animated as hires objects, while the puppet lines are generated by the democode. This is why only the still version is uploaded here.

@Ash, i have to disagree, taking into account all the c64 hi-res mode restrictions, this does really make a nice, smooth pixel-art piece. You might say its oekaki due to the sketchy look it has, but in reality the piece has great color control.

I would never be able to tell that this is c64 art if i wasnt told so.
