Ah I see, I think more should be taken from the reference perhaps, so bringing the arms up higher behind the head and then point the blade itself further up and out, might be less awkward. The leg in the reference is moving fowards to support the weight of the sword, and this one the leg ends up going back more, I think the leg needs to be much father forward to the left of the image, and you'd see the rest of the back leg and there'd be better weight distribution then :P
Yeah, I tried to get the arms as accurate as possible...which is tangled ^_^' This is an example of the look I was trying to get: http://fightmedieval.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/clipboard01.jpg which was tricky for me from that perspective. Thanks for the feedback though! And yeah, I need to start working with my own pallettes :D
The arms are a bit hard to read, they seem sort of tangled... I could recongnise kiwi's palette a mile away :'D
Thanks for the critique! Yeah, it looks like she's about to fall over, I wasn't really using the referance (which I shouldn've been doing), more going off my memory of how to perform the guard. I'll keep your points in mind for the next sword-fighting pixels I do :D
